Born in a small town in Alaska Casey was active from the start. Her mother claims she never slept a full night 'til she was 3 years old! Casey and her family moved to New Mexico when she was ten. While in college, anxious to build a resume, she was offered a job with her local college station as a weathergirl. She took it and became an instant favorite among viewers.
Eager to get a career started she graduated from New Mexico State University in 3 and half years with a degree in Journalism Mass Communications. After graduation the brunette landed a hosting job for a local television show in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
While pounding the pavement it has led her to roles in Spare Parts, Longmire and Odd Thomas. And this summer, catch her in Independence Day 2: Ressurgence and the Mathew McConaughey movie, Gold--or not. And she's on the cutting room floor. You never know with editing.
Casey is also a former Miss New Mexico USA. Claiming she's a non pageant girl who happened to win a pageant.
Messer was even picked out of a crowd of half a million, interviewed and selected to go to Turks and Caicos with ESPN's Wanna Go Fishing? show. Never one to pass up an opportunity the blue eyed girl entered EXTRA's Face of Las Vegas contest and was selected as one of four finalists.
Today you can catch her nationwide hosting DirecTV's The Screening Room, hosting the pre-show iPic Now for iPic Theaters. And hosting the number 1 morning show in New Mexico, Good Day New Mexico on KOB the NBC affiliate.
She's hosted a number of shows for REELZ including Naked Trailers, a daily show full of movie trailers, First Fans, where every week she went to the premiere of the latest movie and got reactions of the first movie goers.
As if this girl weren't busy enough she has completed 6 marathons! Including Athens Greece and finally met her goal of breaking 4 hours while running the 2010 New York City Marathon in 3 hours and 58 minutes! Back to Chicago in 2017 is on her list!
With all these credits to her name, the title she enjoys the most is being called Mom!
